Last night we had the best time trick or treating with friends down Sorority Row at LSU. I have to say it felt a little strange walking down the row as a non-student and as a mother (yes, I know my child is almost three, but it still blows my mind sometimes that she is mine!) It was weird and fun all at the same time and brought back some really great memories from college. I still felt like at any moment the greek bus would be coming by to pick me up for class! Yikes! I think 6 1/2 years of college class about did it for me, thanks!

Lee, Me, Claire, James, the chili pepper, and Emma Kate, the lady bug
All the kids (and there were lots and lots of them) all looked so cute! And poor babies all looked so hot in their winterized-not-made-for-Louisiana-fleece-and-velour Halloween costumes. It was only like one thousand degrees yesterday! Thankfully, today is much cooler!
Emma Kate dressed as a little lady bug this year (Thanks, cousin Sara for all your super-cute hand-me-downs!) Yesterday, Emma Kate was a very worn out little lady bug. She had her first appointment at the dentist, and was such a big girl. But, she got a little worked up, and didn’t nap very well. So, she looked like this the whole time we trick-or-treated:

But, at least she was a tired lady bug with very clean teeth!
And this is her sweet friend, James. Is he not the cutest little chili pepper you ever did lay eyes on?!

And, of course we couldn’t go trick-or-treating down the row without stopping at this house:

Happy Halloweening Everyone!
