On the Floor!!

Emma Kate had a good night. She woke up a few times crying, but settled down pretty quickly. She did great after the vent came out around midnight last night. This morning she got the chest tube, the big IV in her wrist and neck, the patch on her head, and the catheter all taken out. Now she only has one little IV in her foot and the pacing wires. She seems so much more comfortable now that she's not covered in wires. She has also been tolerating the pedialyte, so at her next feed, we will try to get her back on her usual milk. The best news of all is that she just got moved to the floor!! The nurses were surprised at how fast she got moved out of the CICU! They said that it rarely happens that quickly. Thank you all for your continued prayer. Hopefully, things will continue to go well and we can head home shortly.
