Trey and I just got to see our sweet baby girl. Now we are taking turns with the family going back to see her. Everyone says she looks really good, and she does, but it is still a little shocking to see her with so many wires and tubes. She is still on the vent, but could be off in about 12 hours. While we were back there, they decreased her gas from 100% to 40% which is good. As time goes on, they will remove the tubes and wires, and when she is moved to the floor she should only have two small IVs and a few pacing wires. We just talked to Dr. Breitbart, and he reiterated that things went well. He was happy to see her bow back in her hair! We are SO thankful for all of the wonderful care we are getting here. I can't say enough good things about this place. We thank you so much for all of your prayers. We truly felt them all the way in Boston. Thanks for your comments too! We love to hear from our friends and family :)
P.S. Have I mentioned that I AM SO HAPPY THIS IS OVER??!!
We're all happy its OVER!!! You'll be home before you know it. Wow, I'm so amazed yet again at the skill of these doctors and nurses. What a wonderful place.
ReplyDeleteThank God for the great news. We have all been on pins and needles and pretty emotional today thinking of what that sweet baby girl and y'all must be going through. We are so thankful for the wonderful news and can't wait for y'all to come home.
